Every Acharya Thirunakshatram of the Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam this year, for your city
The Ashramam's own calendar follows the Vakya panchangam. Vakyam means "a sentence": the positions of the Sun, the Moon and the stars are worked out from short Sanskrit verses handed down over many centuries, not from a modern ephemeris.
This page uses Drishya Ganita, also called Thirukanita: the positions are calculated with modern astronomy, so that they agree with the sky. The two methods can place the start and end of a nakshatra a few hours apart, and the Sankramana, the moment the Sun enters the next rashi and the Tamil month begins, can differ too.
So now and then a Thirunakshatram here may fall a day before or after the date in the Ashramam's calendar. In every such case, please follow the Ashramam's calendar.
શ્રીરંગમ શ્રીમદ્ આંડવન આશ્રમ વડકલૈ પરંપરાના મહાન શ્રીવૈષ્ણવ આશ્રમોમાંનો એક છે, જે ત્રણ સદીઓથી વધુ સમયથી શ્રી રામાનુજ અને સ્વામી વેદાંત દેશિકના ઉપદેશોને સમર્પિત છે. તેના વડા આંડવન કહેવાય છે, અને પરંપરા માને છે કે આ નામ ભગવાન રંગનાથે પોતે પ્રથમ આચાર્યને આપ્યું હતું.
આ આશ્રમ મુનિત્રય સંપ્રદાયને અનુસરે છે, જે ત્રણ મુનિઓની પરંપરા છે: શ્રી નાથમુનિ, શ્રી યામુનમુનિ અને શ્રી રામાનુજ. તિરુક્કુડન્દૈ દેશિકન્ (શ્રી ગોપાલાર્ય મહાદેશિકન્, જન્મ 1700)એ આ પરંપરાને પુનર્જીવિત કરી અને તેઓ મુનિત્રય સંપ્રદાય પ્રવર્તક તરીકે સન્માનિત થયા. તેમનાથી આ પરંપરા શ્રીમદ્ વળુત્તૂર્ આંડવન્થી શરૂ થતા બાર આંડવનો સુધી પહોંચે છે. વર્તમાન આંડવન, બારમા, શ્રીમદ્ આંડવન્ શ્રીવરાહ મહાદેશિકન્ છે, જેઓ 2018થી પીઠ પર છે.
આશ્રમ દરેક આચાર્યનું તેમના તિરુનક્ષત્ર, એટલે કે તેમના જન્મના તમિળ માસમાં તેમના જન્મનક્ષત્રના દિવસે, સ્મરણ કરે છે. ઉપરની યાદીમાં આ વર્ષે તમારા શહેર માટે તે સર્વ દિવસો આપ્યા છે.
