Aṭlataddi

Atla Tadde (అట్లతద్ది), also called Atla Taddi, falls on Ashwayuja Bahula Tadiya, the third day of the dark fortnight of Ashwayuja. It is one of the best-loved vratams of the women of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Long before dawn the girls and women eat a meal of rice with gongura pachadi and curd, and then keep the fast through the day. The morning is for play: swings (uyyala) are hung from the trees, and they sing "Atla Taddoy, Aaratloy, Muddapappoy" as they swing and play games in the lanes.

In the evening Gowri Devi is worshipped, and attlu (dosas) are offered to her and given as vayanam to married women. Once the moon has risen, the women see it, offer to it, and break the fast. Married women pray for their husbands' long life, and young girls for a good husband.
