Born in 1926 in the Thirumalai Nallan Chakravarthy family, he served as Asthana Vidwan of the Mutt and Joint Editor of Sri Nrisimha Priya before sannyasa. His full title began with Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka.

He wrote Sri Vaishnava Sadacharya Nirnayam, renovated many of the Mutt's old buildings and the Adivan Satakopa Jeeyar's Brindavanam, consecrated the Selaiyur Matam in Chennai with its patashala, and made pilgrimage to Ahobilam easier. He attained Paramapadam on 19 May 2013.
