Cheti Chand (Jhulelal Jayanti) 1985

Cheti Chand, also widely known as Jhulelal Jayanti, is the Sindhi New Year and the birth anniversary of Jhulelal (Uderolal), the patron saint and Ishta Devata of the Sindhi Hindu community, revered as an incarnation of Varuna Deva. It falls in Chaitra Shukla Paksha, close to the start of the lunar new year observed across much of India as Ugadi/Gudi Padwa.
