Lakṣmī Jayanti 2231: Pomona, California

Lakṣmī Jayantī commemorates Goddess Lakṣmī's appearance, celebrated when the Uttara Phalgunī Nakṣatra prevails during Phālguna Māsa (the lunar month, normal occurrence only), the lunar month that also carries Holī.

Lakṣmī Jayantī Nirṇaya, like most pañcāṅga determinations, has been interpreted somewhat differently across sampradāyas and regional traditions over the centuries. Please follow the convention observed by your own family or tradition where it differs from what is shown here.
