Śrī Naṭarāja Abhiṣekam 2205: Pomona, California

Śrī Naṭarāja Abhiṣekam refers collectively to six annual ceremonial abhiṣekams (sacred bathing rites) performed for Lord Naṭarāja, the cosmic-dancer form of Śiva, at the Cidambaram Temple. Each of the six is anchored to a distinct Tamil solar month (the Sun's transit through a specific rāśi) combined with a particular tithi or nakṣatra prevailing at either dusk or the pre-dawn hours.

Together, these six days trace a yearly rhythm of devotion at one of the five Pañca Bhūta Sthalams: the Cidambaram Temple, uniquely dedicated to Śiva as Naṭarāja and representing the element of Ākāśa (space).
