A Vellala of ancient Mylapore who worshipped Shiva entirely in his mind. In the temple of his heart he installed the Lord, lit the lamp of knowledge, bathed Him with the water of bliss and offered the food of love.
Through this unbroken inner worship he attained Shiva's feet.
