Shravan Somvar refers to every Monday that falls during Shravana masa, considered especially auspicious for the worship of Lord Shiva. Many devotees observe a fast on these Mondays, offer Rudrabhishekam, and visit Shiva temples.

Because North India generally follows the Purnimanta lunar calendar (month starting at Purnima) while Gujarat, Maharashtra, and South India generally follow Amanta (month starting at Amavasya), the two traditions' own Shravana masa windows overlap for most of the month but differ by roughly two weeks at each end -- so the exact set of Mondays observed can differ slightly by region.
