Both traditions, side by side
Śrī Jayantī, the Śrī Vaiṣṇava observance of Lord Kṛṣṇa's birth, is computed differently by two independent traditions: the Munitraya Sampradāya and the Śrī Sannidhi Sampradāya of Śrī Ahobila Mutt. Both require the Sun in sidereal Siṃha (Leo) with Kṛṣṇa Pakṣa Aṣṭamī tithi and Rohiṇī nakṣatra, but apply different rule hierarchies for selecting the day when the two conditions don't align perfectly: they usually agree, but can differ by a day in some years.
This page shows both dates for your city, computed independently and side by side, so you can follow whichever tradition your family or lineage observes.
