Vaishnava Ram Navami 1917

Vaishnava Ram Navami is the Vaishnava observance of the birth of Lord Rama, seventh avatar of Vishnu, on Chaitra Shukla Navami.

Smarta and Vaishnava traditions can observe Rama Navami on different days. In most years the two traditions coincide on the same date; the Vaishnava-specific day shown here only differs from Sri Rama Navami's Smarta date in some years, when it falls one day after the Smarta observance.
